Compact Emprana is a specialised Energy-Dense High-Protein (EDHP) nutritional product in a 50 g ready-to-eat paste format. It is designed to provide nutritional support for strength and energy, specifically in individuals with low BMI, severe malnutrition, or low muscle mass.
Compact Emprana is meant for individuals who may have low BMI, severe malnutrition, or low muscle mass requiring high energy intake. A healthcare professional can assess nutritional needs and determine whether it is appropriate as part of an individualised nutritional plan.

It also provides essential vitamins and minerals, including calcium, zinc, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and vitamins A, D, E, C and B-group vitamins.
Each 50 g sachet of Compact Emprana provides approximately 285 kcal, equivalent to an energy density of approximately 5.7 kcal/g. This allows a substantial amount of energy to be provided in a small portion.
Each 50 g sachet of Compact Emprana provides approximately 18 g of protein from a Whey and Peanut protein blend in the ratio 60:40. Whey protein has a DIAAS of 109 and provides all nine essential amino acids (EAAs), including the branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), such as leucine, isoleucine, and valine essential for muscle protein synthesis.
DIAAS, or Digestible Indispensable Amino Acid Score, is a measure used to assess the quality of a protein based on how well the body can digest and use its essential amino acids. A score of 109 indicates that the protein meets or exceeds the reference amino acid requirements used in the assessment.

The recommended use is 2 sachets of 50 g per day, providing a total of 100 g, or approximately 571 kcal and 36 g of protein.
